Instrument of Consent


I'm not much for the Royal Wedding hoopla, but the Queen publicly issued the Instrument of Consent, a legal document she grants to members of the royal family when they wish to marry.

Yes, the document was done by hand. Cyberscribes the online calligraphers discussion group was speculating on the identity of the artist. Over the weekend this beautiful piece was identified as being done by calligrapher and illuminator, Timothy Noad
