Summer Is

finally here! Happy Solstice! Don't forget to look at the Full Strawberry Moon tonight. Full moon at the Solstice doesn't always happen.

  1. Thanks for reminding me that it is the solstice. I still have the 21st sick in my brain add the right date, although I think it will fall on the 20th for the teddy of my life.

  3. A Strawberry Moon? I've never heard of such a thing!

    1. I don't know if it's regional. Here in New England, the story goes Native Americans named the full moons through the year based on harvest/nature cycles. The full moon in June is called the Strawberry Moon because that is the crop that is ready to be harvested.
