Baby, The Rain Must Fall

and then you get to measure it in a cool rain gauge. We had quite a bit of rain this week. Enough to push us out of the drought. Or at least alleviate the drought somewhat.

What's the weather in your neck of the woods?

    1. Isn't it great? It's called a Jeffersonian Rain Gauge, and I gave it to Himself for Christmas. I found it at windandweather.com

    1. Ugh, water in the basement. The rain stopped and we enjoyed gorgeous weather on Fri. Today is warm, but cloudy. I think your rain is headed this way at the beginning of the week. Hope the rain has let up and your basement is high and dry

  3. I was expecting rain but none this weekend. Those clouds must have not quite come this far north. I'm hoping this week. I think we are on the brink, not out of the drought but in a much better place. I love love love your rain gauge. It is really cool. :) Hugs-erika

    1. I think scattered showers were predicted for the weekend. We might see some rain Monday night and then again on Thursday night. I'd rather see the warm temps stay.

  4. We've been having so much rain, it's crazy!!! I guess we should be thankful for it, but it would be nice if it rained one day and it was sunny the next! Not having it all at once! LOL! The temperatures are cooler than usual too!

    1. Isn't it? We had some of the same kind of weather you're having. It should only rain at night just like in Camelot!
