The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Ben Dover doing the languidly homework was featured as Reggie's Pick of the Week. Too funny.

2. Himself is now the same age as me.

3. Enjoyed perfect sunroom weather. Planted the milkweed Red gave me. Milkweeds attract monarch butterflies.

4. Had a free energy audit done. We're thinking about putting in mini-split, ductless air conditioning, and heating units. MassSave offers a no interest loan, but to qualify, you have to have the energy audit done. The auditors also installed a new, programmable thermostat in the basement, and exchanged incandescent bulbs for new LEDs.

5. Art supplies from Dick Blick arrived a day early.

How was your week?

    1. Major pain? No, we had several. A bit expensive, but they last a lot longer than regular light bulbs. and I hope the milkweed survives the gypsy moths. Looks like another bad year.

  3. My week was good since I am getting better every day. I am sure your week was more exciting than mine- a box from Dick Blick is always a reason to have a banner week, but I can't complain. Happy weekend CJ. Hugs-Erika

  4. Sounds like you had a banner week. I love how Ben was featured by Reggie. You make him appear so lifelike.

Free energy audit and they even provided the new light bulbs? I would have taken them up on that offer alone. We don't have anything like that in KS.

Our energy company offered new thermostats that were connected to their company. If the energy soared, they turned off your electricity until it was more manageable and the energy spike had been reduced. Not many people wanted to be controlled like that, so the program failed. I wonder why!

    1. I thought it was funny Reggie picked Ben Dover.

MassSave is a really good program. Some good incentives and no interest loans.
