How Does Your Garden Grow?

Temperatures in the mid-70s

caused another batch of morning glories to bloom

A pair of mourning doves spent their afternoon sitting on the edge of the birdbath

A clover blossom made an appearance

The petunias woke up

Better hurry, little sleepyhead

The temperatures dropped, the winds blew, and a dusting of snow coated surfaces.

The water in the birdbath froze solid. Tail feather will freeze lounging on the edge of the birdbath.

So much for the morning glories.

And hydrangeas that Morticia Addams would love.

How does your garden grow?

  1. Oh my gosh, you just said the 4 letter word! My daughter got snow too. Your garden bloomed just beautifully. I love the picture of the mourning doves. Makes me smile.
Have a wonderful Sunday, my friend.

    1. The mourning doves were so cute. They spent a good half hour just sitting on the edge of the birdbath.

  2. MY hydrangea is black and droopy. No more flowers this year for sure. A few hardy plants are still green, and I just pulled in my pot of parsley which somehow avoided the frost. it's November, isn't it? We got spoiled this fall and nw reality is back. Happy Sunday. Hugs-Erika

  3. Yes, winter seems to have caught up with us on both sides of the pond! Keep warm, hugs, Valerie

  4. What a difference a few days makes. From lovely morning glories that you had wished for all summer, to dead and done. It seems autumn has taken a nasty turn here, doesn't it.

  6. I can relate! We have had the most erratically strange weather here in Pennsylvania as well. In just a days time, we go from 60's to 40's then rain, rain and more rain. Very nonseasonal I dare say. lol

    1. I wouldn't mind if Fall and Winter stayed on the warm side of non-seaonal. I can do without the snow.

  7. Wow, those morning glories are spectacular! That was such a pretty display of flowers until the frosts came along, I think Morticia would prefer them that way though ...lol 😁. I hope you had a lovely weekend and wishing you a happy new week! J 😊 x
