T Stands For Impromptu Post

The Friday after Christmas, Himself asked if I wanted to tag along with him while he went to his QiGong workout. Ok, but only if we could go out to lunch. The workout was scheduled for 1 PM. Lunch was out, but we could go out to eat around 11 AM which would give him plenty of time to digest before exercising. Could we go to IHOP for breakfast? Sure. I'm in.

We got to the restaurant at 10:30 AM. It's a new, popular and busy place. There was a 20 minute wait, but we had time so we waited. The manager wrote our name on the wait list with a broken, blue crayon.

Our name was called and we were led to a booth. Settled in with the menu, and the waitress asked if she could start us with coffee. I asked for tea and Himself ordered a Gingerbread Hot Chocolate.

The waitress brought our drinks and I began preparing my tea.

"What? No pictures?"

I laughed because I hadn't planned on this outing as a Tea Stands For post, but he seemed disappointed. Ok, he was being sarcastic. So I took a picture of his beverage.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  1. Impromptu is always the best. I think this is a good story. I don't think my hubby even notices that I take food and drink photos when I go out. Enjoy this little warmer day. Hugs-Erika

  12. I apologize for taking so long to visit. I’ve had internet woes and just got back online. I'm laughing because I simply adore the fact your husband felt left out if you didn't take a photo of his cocoa. It sounds yummy, too. So glad he's such a good sport and enjoyed being a part of T day. Thanks for sharing this impromptu moment with us for T this Tuesday and thank your husband, too!
