T Stands for Pi Day Apple Pie

To celebrate Pi Day on March 14, I baked an apple pie. Himself's favorite pie. For the steam vent, I cut the symbol for Pi. Apples used were McIntosh and Granny Smith apples. The pie crust was courtesy of the Dough Boy. Next to the pie is my evening cuppa. Himself had a glass of milk.

Did you celebrate Pi Day?

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  2. Yum. Apple pie and vanilla ice cream would taste good for breakfast today. I like your steam vent. No Pie for us on pi day this year. But your pie is making me think we should have had some. :) Happy T day CJ. Hugs-Erika

    1. Too bad the apple pie is all gone. We didn't have vanilla ice cream just whipped topping. The Pi Day celebration started when the girlies were little, and I've just kept it up.

  6. I am having a terrible week. I can’t stop coughing, my internet keeps going offline, and my keyboard works about half the time.

I realize I’m not a very good host, but want to thank you for sharing T with us this Tuesday. Happy Vernal Equinox, too.

YES, I am a math geek and am saddened by Hawking's death. Such a great thinker and innovator. I've even read his T O E.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It's still too cold to plant the garden yet but starting the seeds in their "mini green houses" gives them a great head start and keeps my windows clear for the cats to set and watch the birds outside.
    Happy Late T Day!
