The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week

1. Going out to breakfast makes grocery shopping bearable.

2. We were going out to dinner Saturday night, but the wait at the restaurant was too long. (The only food worth a long wait was Ma's cooking). We grabbed burgers from Five Guys, had dinner in the sun room, and watched Richard 😻 Widmark in Kiss of Death.

3. We had a break in the humidity so I was able to get some weeding done.

4. Unboxed and played with the Scan N Cut

5. Made a play date with Teague.

How was your week?

  1. Sounds like a good week. Here I've been trying to hide from the heat, it was 46° this morning, toooooooooo hot for me. Hugs, Valerie

  4. I am truly envious. A scan n cut? You are SO blessed and lucky. What fun you will have with it, I'm sure.\

The heat broke for ONE day this week: Wednesday, so I was able to mow for the first time in six weeks. I was surprised I hadn't gotten a letter from the city warning me to mow or I'd be fined. They do that if your grass gets too tall and mine was above my socks in the back yard. So glad you had a chance to weed, and I look forward to your garden post this week!

    1. Getting the Scan n Cut was based on your recommendation. I have a wedding in Nov. to do seating cards for a Cinderella themed wedding. The cutting machine will make things easier.

You'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see my garden pictures. Already scheduled is The Eldest's garden and Moopa and Mooma's garden/farm

  8. Sounds like a great week! I did some weeding today, although, the humidity was very high. We are coming into a very high week of humidity again! I agree, I would wait all day, if I had to, for my mom's cooking!
