    I hope you had a Happy Birthday. I saw your comment that you were here in Connecticut this week, at Enders Island. Mystic is a beautiful town, and that retreat location looks lovely. (I looked them up, and added their link to my blog.) Did you attend an Illuminated Manuscripts workshop there? (I'm on the West side of the state, so that location is about an hour and a half drive away from me, via I95. But that area is doable for a day trip for me. :-)

      I left Sunday to attend the Illuminated Manuscript workshop on Enders. Mystic is an hour and a half from me. The workshop ends after lunch on Friday. The island is so beautiful and peaceful

      Yes, it’s a fabulous workshop. The instructor is very patient, the class is a lovely group of people. The island is very beautiful and peaceful. Oh, and the food is fabulous. My dream week ends Friday after lunch. I hope you’re feeling better and taking it easy with the heat

    I love this scene from Alice in Wonderland. Now I am humming the song. Are you home from your art retreat? Hopefully wherever you are you are staying cool.       Only halfway through the retreat. Will be home Friday afternoon. It’s been hot and humid, but there’s a breeze off the water on the island so outside is quite comfy. The dorm doesn’t have AC. I turned my fan on right after dinner so my room is now comfy. Hope you’re staying cool. Did you get hit with thunderstorms?
