The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1.  Errands and out to breakfast at IHOP

2. Calli and Quill had their nails clipped. They weren't too happy, but didn't fight the groomer.

3. Enjoyed baking day: rye bread, apple pie, egg nog pie, cinnamon rolls with egg nog glaze

4. Cinnamon rolls for breakfast

5. Himself recorded one of my favorite movies, The Boy with Green Hair starring a baby Dean Stockwell.

How was  your week?

  2. My week was good but boy did it fly. I haven't heard of this Boy with Green Hair. But I like Dean Stockwell. And you had a good week from the sounds of it. Cinnamon rolls for breakfast would do it for me. Smile. Happy Friday! I won't say what Mr. Weatherman said we might get tonight. I think I might cry if we do. hugs-Erika

    1. The Boy with Green Hair made in 1948, at the start of the Cold War. I hope the weather dudes got it wrong.

  3. Although I only eat one meal a day, those cinnamon rolls sound good.

I'm thinking of buying one of those electric nail "clippers" for my two who detest getting their nails clipped. These just fit in the nail and it rounds the nail, but doesn't come close to the quick. I'm always so afraid I'll hurt mine, so seldom clip them.

Sounds like your Thanksgiving was as thankful as mine. I'm just back from another big thankful meal.

    1. We were going to order breakfast for take-out, but couldn't get the order to work on the iPad so we went in. Not a lot of people and we were in an area by ourselves

  7. I watched the Stockwell tribute too. I'm confused/surprised that TCM didn't make their usual montage to him......I wonder if they're not going to do them anymore. :(

    1. Yeah, or maybe young people just don't know who he is so they didn't bother.
