The scarecrow sometimes acts as a weathervane. Sometimes he's standing with his back to me and then the wind blows and he's looking at me. Pulling into the driveway, it always looks like someone's in the yard. Very Stephen King.

    OOOOooooOOOooo i could totally see the Stephen King vibe.... The SunFlowers are going great this year... The roofers did a little damage but i'am sure they will more than recover... I hear everyone around me mowing... I'm giving myself another day off....and starting tomorrow... All that rain is going to make the grass/weeds GROW like wildfire.. and i dare not let it get too far ahead of me... :) With the humidity it feels like i live in the Amazon right now...uuughh.. Hugs! deb

      The humidity will be ramping up here for the next couple of days. No complaints. It beats cold and snow

    LOL, years ago I sat at my PC and saw hectic movement outside the window. Squirrel Peanut was killing my poor Scarecrow!
    Only two bee-flowers in bloom... not good.

    I was SURE I planted milkweed, but mine looks nothing like yours. At least whatever I planted overwinters outside.

    Your garden always looks so nice! With all of the rain and storms we keep having our lawn looks like a jungle half the time 😦

      The lawn would look like a jungle if Himself wasn't able to have Samwise (the yard robot) mow the lawn every couple of days
