More green things and a sunflower solar light
Milkweed
The scarecrow sometimes acts as a weathervane. Sometimes he's standing with his back to me and then the wind blows and he's looking at me. Pulling into the driveway, it always looks like someone's in the yard. Very Stephen King.
Corn. Knee high by the Fourth of July
How does your garden grow?
I like your mushroom solar lights. Mushrooms have such fascinating shapes.
ReplyDeleteWhen the mushrooms are cartoony, they are adorable
DeleteOOOOooooOOOooo i could totally see the Stephen King vibe.... The SunFlowers are going great this year... The roofers did a little damage but i'am sure they will more than recover... I hear everyone around me mowing... I'm giving myself another day off....and starting tomorrow... All that rain is going to make the grass/weeds GROW like wildfire.. and i dare not let it get too far ahead of me... :) With the humidity it feels like i live in the Amazon right now...uuughh.. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteThe humidity will be ramping up here for the next couple of days. No complaints. It beats cold and snow
DeleteIt's great to see everything green, isn't it? Your scarecrow looks great, and I like your solar lights. Hope you enjoy the heat.
ReplyDeleteYup, looking forward to a few days.
DeleteLOL, years ago I sat at my PC and saw hectic movement outside the window. Squirrel Peanut was killing my poor Scarecrow!
ReplyDeleteOnly two bee-flowers in bloom... not good.
Poor Scarecrow 🤣
DeleteWhat's the scarecrow's name? Just wondering.....
ReplyDeleteY'know, I don't think I ever gave the scarecrow a name.
Deletethe stephen king scare crow along with the next word corn.....the novel children of the corn comes to mind !!! ☺☺♥♥
ReplyDelete🤣
DeleteLovely photos! And your blog background birthday cats made me smile. :)
ReplyDelete😊
DeleteLooking beautiful. Especially love the kitty and the colorful cobalt pot.
ReplyDeleteSandra sandracox.blogspot.com
We found lots of cobalt blue pots this year
DeleteI was SURE I planted milkweed, but mine looks nothing like yours. At least whatever I planted overwinters outside.
ReplyDeleteCute solar lights. Hope you get some corn.
Himself got a few ears last year so hoping for a few this year
DeleteYour garden always looks so nice! With all of the rain and storms we keep having our lawn looks like a jungle half the time 😦
ReplyDeleteThe lawn would look like a jungle if Himself wasn't able to have Samwise (the yard robot) mow the lawn every couple of days
DeleteYour scarecrow looks a little too... alive
ReplyDeleteIt's very disconcerting to look at him outside the window and then see him suddenly turn
