One thing I wanted to do on our trip was to have a lobster roll. A couple of the food trucks at Congdon's After Dark had them so I happily handed over my money and the sandwich wasn't as expensive as it would have been at a restaurant.
I was happily enjoying the lobster roll when Teague asked, "Aren't you going to take a picture of your food?" Oops.
I also had a bag of chips (crisps), pickles, and a ginger ale.

Lobster roll sounds so exotic!
ReplyDeleteIt's simple really. Boiled lobster meat usually from the claws. It can be made cold with mayonnaise and celery, but I prefer it served warm with drawn butter in a hot dog/frankfurter bun.
DeleteNow there are TWO Tuesday posts about lobster rolls. I’m jealous!
ReplyDeleteIt's Summertime in New England aka Lobster roll season 🐱
DeleteGinger Ale has always been such a treat for me... from when i was a kid... I remember Shirley Temples being a special treat... Mom never bought it to have at home , not sure why... And i don't buy it for home either... its a treat... go figure.. Happy T day to you! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteIt's not always found here at restaurants. This was my mother's beverage of choice for holidays for those who did not or weren't old enough to drink wine.
DeleteNow I want one! LOL
ReplyDeleteC'mon up. We'll go out
DeleteOh yes please, lobster rolls were a favourite of mine when we visited Maine - yum! 😊 Wishing you a very Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteGood choice
DeleteI just read your comment about how you like your lobster roll. That would be my preference, too, since I'm allergic to something in mayo. So glad you remembered to take a photo of the meal and ginger ale you shared with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
ReplyDeleteThank Teague for saying to me, "Aren't you going to take a picture of your food?" 🐱
DeleteYou're the second blogpost with a lobster roll! I wish I could have one too. Of course it's not something we have here, although Spain has a lot of seafood, I have not seen lobsters in the fish shops. (I have never eaten lobster....one day....)
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Lisca
You'll have to make a trip to New England
DeleteWe both have lobster rolls in our hosts today. Hope yours was a good one. And I hope you make it to Pop's one of these days. No rain here yet, have you gotten any? Happy T day.
