When temps are going down that low, we let the water trickle in the sinks overnight to prevent the pipes from freezing and bursting.CJ Kennedyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14931779747826558608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4683035672152916229.post-84022643685793345992016-12-19T07:27:07.464-05:002016-12-19T07:27:07.464-05:00Same to you, SandraSame to you, SandraCJ Kennedyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14931779747826558608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4683035672152916229.post-45128353110840940032016-12-19T02:28:04.013-05:002016-12-19T02:28:04.013-05:00I got up this morning to -10 F temps and -21 F fee...I got up this morning to -10 F temps and -21 F feels like. The water in my kitchen was frozen solid. My heat couldn't keep up with it. It barely got above 0 F today, but I finally was able to get the water running again. At least I had it in the basement and both baths, so all was not lost. I can feel for your poor freezing ducky! They are really tough and flexible so I can beat the ice out of them... We just got freezing rain over six inches of snow here in Vermont. I am ever so ready for the warmer months to come back!
