I think it was June/July of 1973 when our family (Mom, Dad, me (12) and my three younger brothers) took a 30 day vacation driving to Alaska and back in a double cab pickup with a camper. Awesome! And the part I remember the most is when we finally saw snow for the first time. Yeah, we came from Minnesota and were excited to see snow, go figure. My Dad, who didn't really stop for frivolity stopped and let us have a snowball fight.
I was attending Mrs. Scharaden's pre-school. :D
