along with Miro and Bruce are trying to decide which X-acto type blade will work better to remove ink from fine art paper. Will it be the standard metal, curved #10 blade or the curved ceramic blade?
Monet and Miro are going with the traditional metal blade. Bruce thinks the ceramic blade will work just as well, if not better. Testing is planned for later today.
What are your thoughts?

I vote ceramic....but maybe that's because I'm not to be trusted with sharp objects....or so 'they' tell me! 😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteI'm not either since I sliced my thumb on a mandolin and ended up in the ER. Really cute doctor and super glue did the trick
DeleteI say they both will work just as well.... Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI hope so
DeleteWhatever I used it would go straight through the paper. I haven't got a delicate touch .
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit heavy handed, too
DeleteSo nice to see Monet, Miro and Bruce together there.
ReplyDeleteI think a test may be needed ... let us know how it goes.
All the best Jan
Will do
DeleteHope you figured it out. Maybe your desk friends told you what the best blade would be. :) Hope it was a super Monday.
ReplyDeleteI won´t give that a go, clumsy as I am. Good luck you guys!
ReplyDeleteI’d be curious to see which blade works best, especially since fine art paper can be so delicate. It sounds like a careful bit of testing is needed to remove the ink without damaging the paper.
