1. With the Nor'easter predicted I'm so glad the Eldest had the weekend off.
2. We survived the Nor'easter. I don't think it was as bad as predicted in my area.
3. The kitties didn't freak out when the groomer came to clip nails.
4. Looks like Blogger has finally updated the blog roll again
5. A warmish day so Teague and I headed to Dairy Queen for lunch which included a mini Blizzard for a last hurrah for Summer weather.
How was your week?
Nice week CJ. I think we got about what I expected for the Nor'ester. A bit of heavy wind and rain, but it was a dark and damp week until yesterday. And even yesterday didn't stay sunny. Oh well. I'm not going to complain any more about it. :) I hope the blog roll is updated because it's been a little difficult. Have a super Friday. And it sounds like the autumn chill is coming soon.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was disappointing it wasn't sunny yesterday, but the sun is shining brightly today
DeleteInternet is really sloooow this morning... hope this comment goes through... I'm glad the Eldest was off too and the storm wasn't as bad... Same happened here really ... been predicting this huge flooding event for my area for a week and only got a few sprinkles... don't want flooding but we need rain soooo bad.... at least our temps have cooled off .. .thats a blessing..
ReplyDeleteNo kitty freak outs! Yes! We had a kitty show up at our house the past couple days... well its probably 6 mos.Orange with a bell on its collar.. SUPER friendly... now it is just as mysteriously disappeared...
Cross fingers , toes and eyeballs Blogger has fixed the problem
LOVE a blizzard... whats your fav? Mines Strawberry /Banana... YUM!
Aw, I thought you were going to tell me you adopted the orange kitty. My favorite Blizzard flavor was a Choco Strawberry Cheesecake, but apparently it was a limited time only. This time around I got the M&M
DeleteI was so worried about it not publishing i forgot to put
ReplyDeleteHugs! deb lol
Your name!
Delete#5...YUM!
ReplyDeleteIt was yum and a last pleasure before the cold weather sets in. I don't eat ice cream during the Winter
Deleteyard work yesterday in 80 degree temps…probably headed your way as weather seems to move west to east…might be nother trip to DQ is on the horizon 🍦🍦🍦🍦💚‼️😸
ReplyDeleteWe hit 80°, too. Sadly no ice cream, but I roamed the yard taking pictures
DeletePleased you survived the Nor'easter.
ReplyDeleteYes, blogger does seem to be updating blog rolls again :)
All the best Jan
I'm glad the Blogger bug got fixed.
DeleteMy week was up and down days. I would love to have some rain and be able to do stuff without having to have a/c. It was 101 deg. today. DQ is always a good way to make the week better.
ReplyDeleteIt's been nice to open windows and not have the AC running.
DeleteLet's hope blogger has it's act together. Your cat groomer comes to your house? Lucky you and cats. Glad the weather wasn't as bad as predicted.
ReplyDeleteYes, the cat groomer comes to the house to trim nails and treat ears if needed. She is a vet tech and offered this as a side hustle. So many people contacted her, she now has her own business. Calli and Quill hate the carriers and weren't really thrilled with mani/pedis either. So her coming to the house takes a lot of the stress out for them and me, too.
DeleteI feel like a blizzard is ok in any season :)
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful that the week is over!
Wishing you a better week, Finn
DeleteWhoopsie. I had to look up "Nor'ester"... I think we here have Indian Summer. But this week I rather decluttered. Too much stuff - where did that come from?!
ReplyDeleteI have decluttering to do too. Yay for warmer weather to sit out on the balcony
DeleteSounds like a good week.
ReplyDeleteIt was especially coming through the storm unscathed
