Saturday Afternoon at the Movies

This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.

Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. 1. This was the first film I ever saw, my great auntie took me to see it for my 4th birthday. Have a great weekend, Valerie

  3. My daughter and I were talking about this movie just the other day. It is a great story and the animation is fantastic, but they are so mean to poor Dumbo early on that it always makes me so sad. I know it was the time and a lesson for children, but I guess I am a big softie. Happy Saturday. Enjoy this warmer weather. I'm tryin to get the husband to go out on a snowy owl search down in Salisbury. We'll see if he'll agree. Hugs-Erika

    1. It's still a great lesson for all to remember. You don't need the feather to fly. Good luck with the snowy owl search! Hope you can share on your blog

  6. Ah, now here we differ. Dumbo is one of my least favorite movies of all time. It's not that I think it's a bad movie, but -along with Pinocchio (which is another one everyone else seems to love)- I don't like it the least bit. To each her own ;)

    2. It's a Disney Tim Burton film starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, and Alan Arkin and is scheduled for a 2019 release. I'm thinking I may like this one. Here's a trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocWpGdITSR4
      and the Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumbo_(2019_film)
