    I love all photos on your garden grows especially the photo of that Carpet of leaves before you mowed the lawn. It looks fantastic to me. Green green grass at home

    I think many a strawberry-plant died over here... some made it (gosh, they´re nearly or as old as I am...).

      i think that's so cool that you have some strawberry plants that your mother planted. My dad gave us a twig of the Japanese maple that grew in their yard. It's the tree seen on my blog background. Nice to have a reminder of those that have passed on.

    Mowing is such a good way to get rid of leaves, isn't it? My plants look similar, but I was surprised how much they perked up after this past week's rain. I thought they were goners for sure.

      The lawn wouldn't have needed to be mowed except all the rain made it green and spring up

    Love your marigolds. Do they grow that tall?
    I got some angel wings begonia and marigold a few days ago. It's still summer in the Tampa Bay area, 95 degrees yesterday! Looking forward to some cooler weather. Have a great week!

      These marigolds must be a different variety. The ones I know only grow to 6 - 8 inches tall. Send the 95 here. I'm not ready to leave Summer behind.

      No, I think he had a bag attached to his mower and dumped the clippings/leaves up in the woods.
