  1. I love old movies and old movie stars... The movies of today just pale in comparison... The light in the World just dimmed a little with his passing.. Hugs! deb

  6. I had no idea he died until I saw the dates on your post. I had a huge crush on him as a teen. I had this huge poster of him on my bedroom door. So sad to have to say good bye to him.

  7. Oh, this is so sad to hear. Losing a legend like that really feels like the end of an an era. The 'See ya, Hubbell' is a perfect tribute. He was such an incredible actor and did so much for film with Sundance, too. He'll definitely be missed

    1. I fell in love with Hubbell Gardiner from "The Way We Were". I was a senior in high school. When I got my first car a 1979 Ford Mustang, I named it Hubbell.

  8. It's so sad. He was such an icon of our generation. And still active too I believe.

    1. His last film was "The Old Man and the Gun" in 2018. He was still involved in producing working on the series "Dark Winds" and of course, the Sundance Institute.
