The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. I'm so glad I decided to bring my Winter jacket with me for the trip.

2. Looking for a really good Margherita pizza? Try the Brickyard Hollow Brewing Company in Ogunquit, Maine.

3. Clam chowder and haddock bites at Billy's Chowder House in Wells, Maine. I had Maine blueberry pie for dessert, too, with whipped cream. It's too cold to have ice cream now.

4. Since we had to go to the Norseman to check out, we got an extra walk in at Ogunquit Beach

5. When I got home from my trip, Himself gave me a present. Handwarmers. He was hoping they would come in before I left for Maine. Still lots of time in the season to use them. Because of Reynaud's Syndrome, my hands are always cold.

How was your week?

  1. I hope you didn't get too much rain the other day. And it is good you brought your winter jacket. Winter seems to have arrived early this year. Did you get any snow flurries?

    1. I debated about lugging the jacket but so thankful I did. Yes, we had flurries on the way home just as we crossed the Massachusetts border.

  2. What a thoughtful gift. You'll have plenty of opportunities to wear them.

  3. Oh you'll wear those gloves no doubt. What a lovely gift. They were meant to go on the trip with you but didn't make it.
That beach looks amazing. (but cold, good you brought your jacket)
    Have a great weekend,
    Lisca

    1. It was a cold, stormy weekend and I was so glad I decided to bring the jacket. I almost left it home because I didn't want to lug one more thing!

  4. That was five good things and a nice gift besides. I have Raynaud's too. That has to be really tough in the winter there!

    1. I found a company called Heat Holders that have uber warm socks and fingerless gloves. That has helped a lot

  6. Sounds like a good week. I need hand warmers also. I should look into buying some. It gets so cold up here in winter and my hands are always cold.
