How Does Your Garden Grow?

The week started out devilishly cold in the studio

Snow flurries or maybe graupel on the windshield screen

A snowball in the window

Since snow is predicted for Tuesday, Martha wanted to get the outside decorating done.

I split open the gourds from Martha's Fall decorations as a treat for the birds and critters

Lanterns light the way

Martha decorated Ink's lantern with a red bow.

a Welcome flag

Martha was very busy

He put out little trees with lights

and decorated the planters with ribbons, lights, and faux pine

Solar Christmas bulbs on the rails

Martha said he wants the solar lighting to be seen from space.

Santa untangles the Christmas lights for the Advent tree. I think I heard a Horse's Patoot! Or two.

All lit up.

  2. Your outdoor decorations are beautiful. I love the reds. But that 666 is right! Ugh on Tuesday's forecast. They weather people are still undecided about what will happen along coast CT. It could go either way. Too soon! Too soon! I know it will be December 2, and I already had that dusting here about 2 weeks ago, but: Nooooo!!! ;-)

    1. Yeah, so far no snow totals. Just wobbling about the rain/snow line and how far inland it will extend

  3. Nice Christmas views in your garden CJ. And today is definitely cold. How much snow are they predicting for you for Tuesday? Or shouldn't I ask? :) Happy last day of November.

    1. A weather alert from Friday said 8-10 in. Definitely NOOOOOO. So far, the weather dudes aren't saying how much snow we will get.

  4. Down near freezing last night and for the next couple nights... We might actually have to turn the heat on before this latest cold snap is over.. Christmas decor has not come out yet.. but will start putting it out this next week... Thank goodness it cooled off... I'm not sure i could bring myself to decorate Christmas in near 90F degrees... 74F yesterday... i actually painted some fence... 5 sections.. I feel it in my hands today. 41F high today .. i think my timing was impeccable ... lol Martha did a wonderful job on your decorations.. can he come to my house next?? :) Hugs! deb

    1. Martha would whine about your heat, but I'd be happy to play at your house.
