How Does Your Garden Grow?

Not my backyard, but the chiropractor's backyard.

Icy steps and walk

Icy trees. Since the beginning of the year, every other day was either a bit of snow or ice.

Not my backyard. This was on the way home from Teague's house. In the 40 years I've lived in this area and driven this street, at all times of the day and night, I have never seen a train come through the crossing. It was a very long train. As long as the trains that go through downtown Framingham and Dennison Crossing.

Not much snow left in my backyard.

No snow in the front yard.

How does your garden grow?

  2. We had a smattering of snow, but lots of heavy frost. Damp and dull January - wonderful!

  3. I still have some snow, but lots of ice too. I'm excited I woke up to just rain/no snow, even though the locals rather said I was in the coating to 2 inch rain. Thank God they were wrong!!!! Now we all need to get rid of the ice. I love how your photos go from snow to none. You must be happy! Enjoy your day.

  6. Boo to ice and snow! Unfortunately, my garden is growing daffies, which I'm very much afraid means I won't get any in the spring:( Silly daffies--or silly me for not planting them deeper.

    1. We had that happen to us in Feb. one year. Really warm temps . We had planted hundreds for tulips and daffs in the Fall. They all started blooming that Feb. and then we got a blizzard. Most of the bulbs died and never came back. Wow, aren't I a Gretchen Sunshine? 😹

  8. thecontemplativecat here. Cold! It looks cold in your part of the world. Here in really overly sunny California, this is a cold day for us...about 59 degrees. in my small hometown in Illinois. the train would roll by at the same time every night. the town dogs always announced it by howling. Memory. You can keep your snow. I don't miss it one bit.
