When the world is all at odds
And the mind is all at sea
Then cease the useless tedium
And brew a cup of tea.
There is magic in the fragrance,
There is solace in its taste;
And then laden moment vanish
Somehow into space
And the world becomes a lovely thing!
There's beauty as you'll see
All because you briefly stopped
To brew a cup of tea.

To tea - we have snow here. In January! And... to milk?
ReplyDeleteSnow here, too. And yes, to milk and a little sweetener

DeleteI use tea and coffee for different things as i like both... Coffee is for mornings... maybe two cups on a cold morning.. coffee is waking up , greeting the day! Tea is for slowing down... calming my racing thoughts... a nighttime drink before bed... warming a cold night.. breathing in warmth and smell... Very cute poem CJ! Hugs! deb
