The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. I enjoyed the first class of  Lindsay Ostrams' The Empty Page class

2. I have followed Dark Winds off and on. Himself was up to the episode where Robert Redford made a cameo. It was the last time Redford made an appearance as an actor on screen. I watched and now I'm hooked on the rest of the series

3. I got the camera working and with the Young One's help set up for class

4. I had a really fun chat with the Young One. She makes me laugh

5. Teague and I went to a favorite lunch spot where I had breakfast for lunch.

How was your week?

  2. Oh I love Dark Winds. The only bad thing is that it makes me want to go back to New Mexico. :) Sounds like a super week. It's good to have kids who make you laugh. I hope you stay warm with this upcoming weather, and that you don't get a crazy amount of snow...

  3. Erika, the last snow totals I heard were a wide swath of 12 - 18 inches, but the forecast neglected the fluff factor of the powdery snow we're supposed to get. Totals were adjusted 12-24 inches.

    1. Wow, that's a lot of snow! I think we're more in the 8 to 12 inch range. Stay warm!

  4. Time spent with the GrandLittles, each their own day... the Littlest .. painting in the craftroom was the highlight along with bike riding... the eldest riding her bike without training wheels and baking Valentine cookies... I just love their nonstop little voices...
Waiting for our WinterStorm to arrive... spent the day out with daughter without kids... while its still nice... Pretty sure we will be stuck in our respective homes over the COLD /Snowy /Icy weekend... We are not used to this here... I haven't watched Dark Winds but found Three Pines.. murder/mystery... with an actor i like Alfred Molina... Only one season before they cancelled it ... Hugs! deb PS. Stay safe and warm!!
