The Friday Five Good Things


 Five good things that happened this week.


1. We didn't lose electricity during the storm.

2. When the Eldest went to dig her car out, a maintenance man shoveling the hospital walkways went over and helped her out.. 

3. She had made a reservation at a motel close to the hospital, but her little car couldn't handle the road. She went back to the hospital and the night nursing supervisor found her a room on a med. surgical floor where she spent the night.

4. I've been having fun playing in the junk journal.

5.  During my weekly Teague visit, she took me to my annual mammogram appointment, and then we picked up sandwiches on the way back to her house. I had a gyros

    I hunkered down most of the week. Sounds like you had a good week. Glad your daughter could stay at the hospital. Does she work in Worcester? There used to be so many more hospitals in the city compared to now, but now there are the 2 big ones. Stay warm today. It's very cold-but it's almost February and close to (hopefully) some warmer weather.

    *Not losing electricity during the storm is on top of my list too!!!!! :)
    * Had some crafty fun making Valentine Cards...
    *Hubby and girls came down with 'something' 24-48 hr bug but all are better now..
    * I haven't gotten it... knock on wood
    *I have to add that our pipes didn't freeze either .
    Somebody was looking out for your Eldest.... I'm so thankful........My creativity has been seriously lacking in recent months but with the new year seems to have come roaring back... starting with a Valentine you will soon (hopefully) find in your Mailbox... :) Glad your having fun with the junk journal... I love seeing what you've been doing in it... Your so clever.. :) Hugs! deb

      Glad your Hubby and girls are feeling better. Knock wood, you don't get whatever they had. I'm glad your creativity has come roaring back. I love seeing the art you create.
