The quiet before the round up begins. Tile arrives today and then the work begins. The time line sounds ambitious with the bulk of the work finishing up by the end of the week.
I was hoping to be able to host my dad's 90th birthday on Sunday. Hopefully, the majority of the work will be finished enough so I can take my computer and junk off the dining room table, clean and organize the living room and dining room, put a guest towel on the mermaid towel hook and a roll of toilet paper on the new holder.
Looks like a trip to Target to check out hand towels.
There has to be a Saint to pray to in order to get construction projects done on time! Here's to it!
ReplyDeleteLet's see. St. Joseph was a carpenter so he's probably a good choice. One prays to St. Anthony to help find lost things so if the bad weather delays the schedule, we could pray to St. Anthony for the lost day. The basement is flooding because the water table is so high and it started to rain heavily. That issue is a lost cause so that falls under the domain of St. Jude. Good for starters. Course we could always burn a few candles and....
