My crocuses have always bloomed one color at a time for the last 6-7 years. This year I have yellow and white blooming together and yesterday I found a purple bud among them. A great sign of Spring!
Crocuses are done, the plum tree is in blossom and the rhubarb is up about 6 inches. The magnolia blossoms should pop open any day now. Does that qualify for Spring? Yes, because the winter olympics just finished with the close of the paralympic games!

ReplyDeleteOur backyard is still a little muddy from all of the melting snow. I really hope that was the last snow this year!

Prissy's magnolia tree won't blossom until mid-May, Bev. And then we usually end up with a windswept rain storm that tears the blossoms off the tree.
