Doodling for Stress Release

On Mondays via Zoom, I participate in a class where we spend  a half an hour doodling our stress away. I missed two weeks of class because, I skipped class because I was invited to go to the beach with the Eldest. The second time, I was busy doing stuff and lost track of time, but this week I paid attention to the clock.

The assignment was to draw concentric circles and doodle in the spaces.

  1. What fun! At first glance I thought it was a mandala.

  2. Is it difficult to come with doodles on demand? Or do you have a ready list in your head to fill in spaces? Love the clouds :) Hugs! deb

    1. I just doodle whatever pops into my head. The class is really stress free. You can doodle whatever you want or follow the suggestion from the facilitator. Usually her example is just a doodle with straight lines, circles, curves. No pressure.

  3. Sometimes I find it MORE stressful to doodle 'with intention'.....then it becomes a 'project' and then here comes the stress.....maybe it's just me....(ignore the man behind the curtain....LOL.)

    1. It helps when the facilitator says whatever you are doing doesn't have to be museum quality work. Just have fun.

  6. Art, such as drawing, painting, sketching or doodling, is not a talent that I have, unfortunately. For myself, I love to take walks in nature, be around animals, birds and positive people...and just chill out. Thank you so much for sharing this, because I know many people that do have this talent and find it to be very relaxing!

  8. Nice doodle. If you are going to ski class, it should be because you had fun with one of your girls. :)
