The Friday Five Good Things

June 17, 2018
Five good things that happened this week.

1. Despite having to wait for the funeral procession, I got The Young One and her Friend to the train station on time. They had to run, but they made the train to Boston and the gamers convention, PAX East.

2. Saw Timex in the birdfeeder stuffing his face. When I went to take his picture he ran away. Sprng can't be too far away.

3. Caught a couple of readers with my Major Announcement April Fools Joke. 😸

4. Made the journal sample for the Gratitude journal workshop later this month.

5. Had tea and an early morning chat with The Young One.

How was your week?

  1. Glad you hd a good week. Mine wasn't exciting but not bad either. I am just ready for a little warmer weather, but not going to complain about sunshine, longer days and at least not really cold weather! Happy weekend.

    1. I'd be happier if the temps. were 20 degrees warmer. It's pretty Brrrr this morning, but at least there's no snow. Enjoy your day!

  2. Happy to hear that Spring has finally sprung in your neck of the woods. We are starting to get it here as well as of late.

Sounds like a pretty good week to me!

  4. The chipmunks here are in full spring form and always fun to watch. I've finally managed to keep them out of the feeders, but they scurry around underneath them and also in the patio pots. The birds are taking food away from the feeders to their nests. Sweet!

    1. The chipmunks roll in the flower pots like chinchillas to bathe. Too funny.

  5. Your week sounds great. It also sounds like The Young One had a good time at a gaming convention. Those were the days!

It's been cold with two hard freezes this week. Despite that, the sun is out today and I'm wearing a sleeveless dress.

    1. Oh, no! I hope your tulips and hyacinths survived the deep freeze

    2. Tulips yes, but I cut the hyacinths and brought them inside. They smell SO good, which I didn't smell outside.

Mine has been enjoyable but quite busy. I have a quiet Saturday planned and then spending some time with younger family members on Sunday - should be good :)

    All the best Jan
