T Stands for Refreshing

A potential heatwave (3 days of 90 oF  + temperatures) started on Sunday. Himself had asked A ,the young man, who helped out with shoveling the driveway if he could take care of cutting up the large branch that fell on Friday and cutting down a small-ish tree

I went out to ask A if he wanted something cold to drink. I had water, Mountain Dew, and Pure Leaf Ice Tea. A asked for water and I had the ice tea.

What's your beverage of choice when the temperatures skyrocket?

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  1. Temperatures like these make me want frozen margaritas, sadly that's frowned upon at work!

  2. I'll have ice-cold water or lime cordial. Our heat wave lasted about three days - now my feet are like blocks of ice again.

    1. I always leave a pair or two of my Winter socks out, just in case.

  3. I like unsweetened ice tea, or even better, I've been hooked on these Bigelow fruit infusion teas lately. They're not really tea, but an herbal/dried fruit mixture. That bouquet of flowers (is it paper) are beautiful. Happy T day.

    1. Yes, paper bouquet called Sorbet Roses from Fresh Cut Paper. My little gift to me.

  4. It's mostly water with a bit of juice or homemade ice tea. I also started to drink cold brew teas again instead of hot tea for summer. Happy T Day!

    1. It needs flavoring like tea with lemon 😊

  6. I've been enjoying the warmer weather here and my drink of choice is lemon iced tea or Appletiser, both served with lots of ice 😊. Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
p.s. are the flowers real in the background?

    1. I like your tea choice. No, the flowers are paper, well, a heavyweight cardstock from Fresh Cut Paper.
