Straw Bale Garden

Himself planted his garden using straw bales. Lettuce, beans, peppers. Supposedly, plants can thrive in the straw, but weeds do not. We shall see. He also bought a potted cherry tomato plant.

    Color me....skeptical....if a plant can grow why not a weed? :-/
