The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Another anniversary celebration. Dinner at Elaine's restaurant. It was a beautiful night to dine al fresco on the patio.

2. Two Old Ladies were back on the road again, back to our little cabin with a screened porch at the Half Moon Motel and Cottages where we stayed last year in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire

3. We had sundaes at the Kellerhaus for supper

4. I had early morning tea while sitting on the front porch and watching the boats on the lake.

5. We went to Edicott Park. Teague went swimming. I dipped my toes in as Lake Winnipesaukee was too cold for me.

How was your week?

  1. A very pleasant week for you. I would have stopped at toes in the water, too.

    1. Teague is the swimmer. I'm a cat. I like to be by the water, look at the water, maybe paw the water, but I don't like to be wet especially in a swimsuit

  2. We had all that lake steam the other morning at the boat ramp. I'd still go swimming though, if the sun was out. I don't mind a cold dip. Sounds like a fun get away. I haven't had a sundae at the Kellerhaus in a long time. But I like to go there to buy candy. Did you indulge in any sweets in their candy shop?

    1. No, the only sweets we had were the offerings at the sundae bar

  3. Well my wee was not as lovely as your week... A getaway right about now sounds lovely... BUT i did have some lovely time with the Grandlittles and my grass is pretty much all caught up... plenty of craftroom time ahead into the weekend and cooler temps AND some rain expected too!!! Woot woot! I'm not a big swimmer in the ocean or lakes really... i like a hard rocky bottom like in some rivers.. no silt squishing between my toes or sharks nibbling..I'm a product of the Jaws era... lol But i could walk along the beach for miles... I have to make myself turnaround at some point.. lol Take care CJ! Hugs! deb
