Monet and Me

We didn't have the doodle class last week because of  Indigenous People's Day. The facilitator send a doodle for us to work on during the week. We finally got around to completing the assignment.

This was a very fun and relaxing doodle. Give it a try. Start with a circle, either freehand or with a template. Around the inside edge, draw half-circles, 3/4 circles and fill them in with concentric lines.

  1. I would enjoy that. At first glance they look like slices of onion.

    1. Nah, I was the favorite grandchild. The first second generation girl born on my father's side, and the last grandchild on my mother's. The Little Princess could do no wrong. Honoring Columbus was a PR campaign at the turn of the 20th century to stop the prejudice against Italians and Italian Americans.

    2. That explains a great deal- I was the first boy born after six generations on both sides-- dubbed Prince Andrew for many years.

    1. I sent the yarn to the Young One. When she saw it, she had to make me a cat companion.
