Pictures from Ogunquit, Maine

On the way to Ogunquit, we always stop at Nubble Light in York, Maine. The lighthouse never gets old, but it was wicked cold. The gift shop was closed so we wouldn't have been able to buy another sweatshirt like we did in March. We were glad we had brought our Winter jackets.

The seagull didn't mind the cold at Ogunquit Beach

Good-bye, Beach! I hope to see you next year.

  1. What lovely photos CJ. It looks like you had a super visit, and I see you even had sun, even if it was wicked cold. :) It's wicked cold at my house this morning. Was only 19 when I got up. I hope you get back to Ogunquit sooner rather than later, and that you stay warm next trip too.

    1. I'm so glad we both decided to bring Winter jackets. Another frosty morning. At least the sun is out and there is copious amounts of tea. Stay warm

  2. The beach in winter is soooooo much better than the beach in summer! (As long as you're wearing a parka! LOL)

  3. Despite the cold (I was freezing my butt off today, too) - wonderful pics! I can´t wait to hit the ocean soon, too!

    1. We didn't spend a lot of time outdoors so it wasn't too bad.

    1. That has been my fantasy to live and have a studio in a lighthouse.

    1. The Marginal Way is a walking path ( 1. 25 miles one way) from Ogunquit, not too far from the center of town to Perkins Cove, a fishing and artist village south of Ogunquit. It was very cold for this time of year. Even for New England.
