Five good things that happened this week.
1. We watched Phantom of the Opera starring Claude 💖 Rains.
2. We watched another Claude 💖 Rains movie, The Invisible Man
3. Hooray for new toys. The portable paper cutter arrived. It handles paper that is 6 inches and will fit in my art journal travel kit.
4. After a couple of weeks of her not feeling well, I finally had a fun video chat with the Young One.
5. Two Old Ladies are on the road again.
How was your week?
I have heard of both films but have never seen them.
ReplyDeleteWow, a paper cutter that fits. in your travel kit! That is great. Please send us a photo next time.
I'm glad Young One is feeling better.
Enjoy your weekend,
Lisca
Sad memories. Sydney, 1995. THE opera! Playing: The Phantom.
ReplyDeleteIngo: "When we come back".
Six months later: Something different. I never visited the Opera of Sydney. Never saw the piece, either.
A mixed week again here. Yay for seeing the GOOD! (yelling!)
Nice week CJ. That must be one tiny little paper cutter, but it sounds useful. Have fun on your adventure away.
ReplyDelete#5....have fun! 🙂
ReplyDeleteI don't think i have ever seen Phantom of the Opera....although i'm pretty sure i've seen the old Invisible man a long time ago... Have you seen Hollow Man with Kevin Bacon? And the newest one with Elizabeth Moss? I really didn't care for it when i first watched it.. enjoyed it more the second time.. Have you shown us that portable paper cutter? i don't remember.... does it cut shapes or just cut a piece of paper in half??? Well i hope the Young One is well now... hubby has finally recouped... First Granddaughter visit since being sick today... Don't know what he had but he had a VERY sore throat that tested negative for Strep... not Covid either... uuugh.. was not pleasant and lasted a good two weeks... My Friday Five would make this comment way too long but it was a good week!! :) Hugs! deb
