Wed Letter Day



Week 5. Illuminated "S". Need to work on my white work.
Week 6. Time to break out of the comfort zone with this bamboo "r". Walnut ink, Arches Text Wove.

    You are SO creative! What is walnut ink?

    The walnut ink I use has nothing to do with real walnuts and is actually made from peat. It comes in a crystallized form which you reconstitute with water. It has a very lovely walnut brown shade. It makes a very nice practice ink because you can see where strokes overlap.

    As to staying afloat? I'm doing that dance to.
