T Stands for Advent Calendar Puzzle

Just as I thought. Just like Ralphie from A Christmas Story, his Little Orphan Annie secret decoder ring was used to decipher a secret message from the radio show sponsor, Ovaltine.  The back of the Advent Tea Calendar was a puzzle and advertisement for The English Tea Shop.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  5. A tea advent calender sounds wonderful, did you get a different tea everyday? That's such a great idea for the back of the advent calender too and those tea selections look fabulous 😀. Your new mug is very festive - I love it! Happy T Day! J 😊 x

    1. The Christmas mug is being used long after the Christmas season is over. Any cup that’s clean is fair game for a cup of tea. 😄

  15. Your mug is so pretty. I bet you still use it even though Christmas is long gone.
The advent calendar is great. It is very effective advertising, because you try out the different teas and later might be tempted to order some.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

    1. It was fun having a different tea each day to countdown to Christmas. The Eldest gave the mug to me for Christmas. It’s a nice shape and hold a generous cup of tea
