T Stands for My Treat

At this time of year, I usually buy myself a Christmas gift or two. This year in the Vermont Country Store Catalog, I happened to come across an Advent calendar to countdown the days until Christmas

Each little box is filled with a different teabag blend. Perfect for me and my evening cup of tea.

Today's tea is a black tea flavored with ginger, clove, and star anise. Empty boxes are turned around to reveal another picture. Looks to be some sort of puzzle. I wonder if there will be a message like Ralphie from A Christmas Story got. Always drink your Ovaltine. 😺

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  1. That's a lovely calendar, enjoy the tea. You can't get Ovaltine here, just something with a similar name, but it tastes ghastly :( Happy T Day, Valerie

  2. Good morning, wow I love love your advent calender with teas-I did not see that when I was browsing their catalog-but I can't do caffeine but would be neat to refill the following year-will be a surprise to see the finished picture.
Have a blessed advent and Happy T hugs Kathy

    1. There are some green teas in there, too. I'm not a big fan of green tea, but it was flavored with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, and pomegranate. Very nice

  6. OGMosh, an Advent calendar to count down the days until Christmas with boxes with different teabag blends. If there's a T-party prize for best entry, I think you won, CJ!

"A Christmas Story" is my all-time favorite Christmas movie. I hope you'll reveal the final message. And I hope it's not "a crummy commercial!"

    Happy T-day! Eileen xoxo

  10. I have been nine places today, in addition to lunch with Sally. I am exhausted, but so glad I am finally here to see this fun advent calendar you bought that has all those teas in it. I hope you show us the completed puzzle after you have consumed all those teas. Thanks for sharing these with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.

  11. What a fun advent calender. It's a great idea to have different teas in there. I would buy something like that as we both like trying out new teas but sometimes are reluctant to fork out for something we don't know and might or might not be to our taste.
You will have to show us the end reveal!
We are usually away on Tuesday and I would use my ipad, but so many comments have not come through that I have given up on that and I just do the comments a day late. Better late than never!
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca
