We had lunch at Town Pizza in Wells, Maine. Again, we didn't order the specialty of the house. I had a crispy chicken sandwich. Teague ordered their Thanksgiving Turkey sandwich and the counter server snapped at her We don't have it! My thought, if you don't have it then why is it on the menu? The server was very grumpy. Teague had a regular turkey sub.
It wasn't the warmest day, but it was nice enough to head to the beach to sit and watch the ocean. We dipped our toes in, but the water was cold. Some brave souls were surfing in the water and wearing wet suits.
In March, when we stayed at the Beachmere Inn, they had a sign: Beach. Best Escape Anyone Can Have.
