  1. Your veggies are looking great. And I tried growing eggplant for about 4 years and I only ever got 1, so I am jealous that you have what looks like a beauty growing. And can you send "A" yo my house to weed. I have a lot that needs to be done. :) Stay dry-or maybe you aren't getting the rain.

    1. "A" helps out senior around town. Call your senior center to see if there is a young person who would like to earn some extra money. We're getting rain today. Himself is happy he won't have to water the garden.

  2. I'm jealous of your tomatoes! Since the farm stand we used to go to closed (Ian destroyed the building) we haven't been able to find a decent Beefsteak anywhere! I'll have to live vicariously through you when they ripen! 😂

    1. I'm waiting for the tomatoes and cucumbers. I love a tomato and cucumber sandwich on white bread, pardon, Brioche 🤣

  6. Looking good. I miss my gardening days back off the mountain. Fortunately my neighbor across the fence (chain link so I can see)...has a beautiful garden and i enjoy it every day in the summer. I stand and look and hope she isn't seeing me stalking her place all the time. (Nah she knows I love it)

    1. After being transplanted a few years ago when we had to redo the walk and stairs, it's making a good comeback.

  8. I thought weeds only grow wild in Florida due to the hot and wet weather. I guess they grow everywhere! My lantana grew into a huge tree! I chopped it down. Zinnias are doing beautifully, as are my herbs - rosemary, sage, oregano and basil.

  9. Lucky you to have an "A" to help weed. Himself must be thrilled and the finished weeding looks wonderful.
