Look at all the Widowmakers! Those are broken branches waiting to fall
Like this one that planted itself in the ground! I thought Himself had transplanted one of the pear trees
Bird feeder filled
Nuts and seeds scattered on the ground for the ground feeders
A stack of pumpkins and sperm ghost lights.
"Come let's stroll, stroll across the floor. Yeah, come let's stroll, stroll across the floor. Hey now, turn around, baby, let's stroll once more"
Bolger got relocated
Samwise charging up with the leaf blower attachment
Milkweed pods exploded
Some flowers still hanging on. A cosmos
and aster and a little cosmos
Sunlight on the Japanese maple makes the leaves look very red
A hydrangea head
Red leaves on the blueberry bush
Houdini. She followed me out to the front porch the other day. I didn't notice her until pulling out of the driveway.
How does your garden grow?

Those widow makers would worry me if there's wind. But the question is, how do you get them so far up in the tree? The gardens are slowly putting themselves to bed, aren't they? I think it's all on the late side this year because I remember lots of Halloweens as a kid with bare trees. We're not even close this year. Stay warm. It's not the day last Sunday was temperature wise.
ReplyDeleteThe only way to take care of the widowmaker$ i$ to call a tree $service. It's 52 and sunny. Not bad outside. I remember Halloween as a kid as cold and most of the time it rained.
DeleteThat blueberry bush! WOWZA!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's really stunning
DeleteWell you are all ready for Fall! Our temps are much cooler... 54F this morning when hubby left for golf.. So nice to see you Halloween decor... I'm thankful the storms that brought us almost 2 inches of rain didn't send my pumpkins rolling away down the hill or send my skellys off running! lol Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your decorations stayed safe and sound.
DeleteHoudini is well named!
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteHoudini ... LOL, very good. Love your garden-fellows.
ReplyDeleteIt's a purrfect nickname for Calli. Lately, she's become a daring escape artist
DeleteShe always looks like a statue in the window. :-)
