The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1.  I started the Feb. homework for the Empty Page journal class

2. "A" came early to clear the snow from driveway and walk

3. A report from the dermatologist: nothing to worry about

4. The Tuesday night into Wednesday snowstorm turned out to be a nothing. We only got 1 inch of snow from the storm and no sleet/ice

5. Teague baked gingerbread with whipped topping for afternoon snack.

How was your week?

  1. Glad you only got an inch. We got 4 :(. But the warm up is coming which I am really excited about. I bet the gingerbread was yummy. And a good doctors report is always the best. We ate the T Bones which is Laconia. Not far from the Weirs. Enjoy the sunshine and no snow in the forecast.

    * Wonderful sleepover with littlest GrandLittle... she is such a joy
    * Little loves a Tea Party...
    * And playing in the dark with flashlights...inventing new games to play....
*Little learning the words to 'Star Light , Star Bright'....
Gingerbread sounds yummy... and the whipped cream makes it !! Glad your storm was not as bad as expected... thats always nice... they are predicting stormy weather for us overnight tonight... wind/hail mostly..We've been so crazy warm , pushing 80F nearly every day of February.. Hugs! deb

  4. When doctors tell you there's nothing to worry about, that's absolutely wonderful. And when the weather forecast is worse than the actual weather, that's great too! 😊

My week was also good, if not wonderful. We were out and about with my grandson in an area of Lower Austria where there are wild horses, and we saw lots of them. We had several opportunities to work out at the gym and in nature, got a massage, and today we first went to the Kunsthistorisches Museum for a fantastic guided tour and then to the cinema for a very entertaining film.

All the best from Austria, Traude

  6. Good news from the medics is always the best news. And ginger cake is up there too.
Just read your latest 'Whine and Cheeze' and you had me in stitches! You can laugh about it now.
It reminds me of the days I did Cobol programing. I didn't do it for long. I found it boring.
    Have a lovely weekend,
