The Friday Five Good Things

1.  The Eldest was able to make arrangements to stay at the hospital where she works to ride out the storm on Sun. and Mon.

2. "A" showed up at 2 pm Monday to make a first pass of snow blowing the driveway

3. We didn't lose electricity through the storm.

4. A fun chat with the Young One. She told me about a game, Beast of Yore from Inkulinati where you battle with drolleries from the margins of medieval manuscripts.

5. Teague and I hoping the warm weather arrives so Two Old Ladies On the Road can plan another trip

How was your week?

  1. Beast of Yore looks fun and a great way to pass the time. Fridays seem to come round quicker and quicker.

  2. My week was probably a lot like yours. No computer games, but all the snow and we didn't lose electricity in the storm. HURRAH for that. I hope the weather improves soon too so you can hit the road again. Enjoy the sunshine.

    1. I'm glad the hospital watches out for their employees. Not only did they provide her with a room, but they also had their maintenance crew shovel out the employee cars that had gotten plowed in the employee lot.

  4. That's good you didn't lose electricity.

Roll-on the better weather when Two Old Ladies On the Road can plan another trip.

    All the best Jan

  5. thecontemplativecat here. Losing the electricity is so hard. On the farm we had a huge storm which blew trees down. The elec. was out for 3 days.

  6. After updating Firefox, it appears my Failed to Publish nightmares are over. I wanted to especially thank you for visiting when I couldn't leave a comment back.

I had a good week because I can leave comments again, we had record high temps, and we had a day of much needed rain. I also caught up on my favorite show while the boys slept at my side. SO glad you didn't lose power!
