The Friday Five Good Things


 Five good things that happened this week.

1. We had a nice Valentine's Day dinner at home. Himself gave me a beautiful steak to cook and he made his awesome mashed potatoes and a salad.

2. I got a lovely text message from a former student.

3. I had a check up at the dentist, look, Ma, no cavities or other problems

4. A 40° day felt like a warm Spring day so Teague and I went out for ice cream.

5. I love my Tuesday afternoon online calligraphy class. It's a nice group of women and we had such a fun class.

    My week was not very exciting. But those 40 degree days were so uplifting. Ice cream would have been perfect. Glad you made out well at the dentist. :) Hope you don't get much snow today. I'm not looking forward to it. Have a great day CJ.

    I love all four things you mentioned, except number one. I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day based on my beliefs. Besides that, everything here is great. Big hello from Indonesia!

    I love catching up with your Friday Five Good Things post every week... makes me think... and i often find i have more than 5 good things happen in a week...
    * I made a GOOD cup of coffee this morning... the same way i make it every morning but THIS morning tastes especially good... lol
    * Watched Eldest Granddaughter's first Cheerleading Class! She was so excited she could barely contain herself :)
    * Golf Tournament with hubby tomorrow... I've practiced twice now but haven't really played in over a year... could be bad... still looking forward to spending time with hubby...
    * Planning a little GetAway to Fredericksburg/Wimberley Trade Days next weekend... with an overnight... LOVE hotels and thrifting!
    * Knock on wood woodburning on skateboard is coming along..
