T Stands For Lunch in the Big City

 

We were up in the big city running errands. Suddenly, it's lunchtime. I didn't have a very substantial breakfast so I was hungry. Himself suggested we stop at Jimmy's Tavern and Grill as it was on the way home.

Himself ordered Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms for an appetizer. I had an Arnold Palmer (1/2 lemonade and 1/2 ice tea) as my beverage.


I ordered The Fried Egg Burger, a hamburger, cheddar cheese, bacon, and a fried egg, sunny side up. Delicious.

    Wow! Now thats a burger! Never had an egg on a burger AND bacon... uugh.. LOVE it .. just can't eat that way any more... :) Hugs! deb

      I never would have thought it was a good combo, but I tried it on one of the 2OLOTR trips. I don't eat this way all the time.

    The hubby and myself will be running errands in the big city at the end of next month. Sadly I don't think Jimmy's is on the way home as your burger looks really tasty. I love a good friend egg burger. I hope it doesn't rainy so hard today for you, but it is NOT snow. Hurrah for that. Have a super T day and last day of March.

      Off an on showers predicted for the rest of the week. I don't think any day is a complete washout. As you said, at least it's not snow.

      I never eat a whole meal when I go to a restaurant. The portions are always so big. So before I begin, I divide my plate in half and take half home.

    I love my eggs sunny side up, too. I love seeing the yolk facing me. Your burger is pretty amazing. I checked out their menu and a few things made me pretty hungry. Thanks for sharing your Arnold Palmer and burger with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
