Five good things that happened this week.
1. Went with Himself to the Black Belt Dinner to celebrate candidates who earned a black belt. As usual, we were seated with Master Beef and his wife, Grandmaster E. E is outrageous, and we had so much fun.
2. Robin from Pink House Studio sent me a delightful postcard of Sebastian, a pink kitty. Thank you so much, Robin. The cheery card helped make the endless rain bearable.
3. Tried to get an appointment for the Young One with a GI specialist in Boston, but the earliest appointment he had was late August. The office called back a day or two later to say they could move the appointment up to June 26. Hopefully, the doctor will be able to help her.
4. After another week of rain, the sun finally came out!
5. In the garden, Cacciatore, the bunny, has a buddy. Hassenpfeffer. They have been coming out morning and evening to mow the lawn. This morning, a 3rd bunny showed up. The new bunny has a dark spot on his right flank. I've named him or her Chip as in Chocolate Chip to follow the food name themes.
How was your week?
It sounds like you had lots of fun at the dinner 😀. How lovely to receive some happy mail and I love your pink kitty, so cute! With all the rain making the grass grow I'm pleased to hear that you have your own bunny mowing service ...lol 😉. Have a great weekend! J 😊
ReplyDeleteArty mail is always a high point of a week
DeleteMy week was good, thanks for asking. I have a new toy, bought a lens for my camera, and I have been out playing already this morning. :) Sounds like you've had a great week too. This sun and warmth changes everything, doesn't it? Happy Friday, hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteBeing out in public this week, it's obvious the sunny skies have improved moods. Enjoy your new toy
DeleteHappy Friday to you. Had never heard of Hasenpffer...that's a great scrabble word, but I feel sorry for the bunny that ended up with that name...a little ominous. I think I'd rather be Chip, makes me think Beauty and the Beast. Enjoy the sunny weekend.
ReplyDeleteHassenpfeffer is German for rabbit stew. Literaly translates to hare pepper.
DeleteCJ.....they are cute now but if they are anything like the rabbits here; NO vegetation will be safe; even the "plant's rabbits won't eat" ~~~~ I've lost more flowers to them than drought and everything combined ♥♥
ReplyDeleteSo far, they have confined themselves to the patch of grass in front of Ink's garden. Himself is having back issues so he isn't planting a vegetable garden this year
DeleteHasenpfeffer? Really? That's twisted! ;) (thanks for the link!)
ReplyDelete:-D That's me!
DeleteSorry I'm late visiting. My internet let me down, but I'm back now. I always like your top 5, because you find something good about the week.
ReplyDeleteRobin's pink kitty is adorable. So clever and cute. And it sounds like you enjoyed yourself at the banquet.
Love the cookie names of your bunnies. That is clever, clever.
The Friday Five evolved several years ago.I was in the midst of taking care of my parents, trying to find a nursing home, legal issues about selling the house, Medicaid. Everthing was so negative. So the Five helped me focus on positive.
DeleteWe've been having Internet problems at night while trying to watch Game of Thrones.
That cat is so cute! You have 3 bunnies! How adorable!
