The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things, all about food,  that happened this week.

1. We visited Himself's Nana at the cemetery and then had dinner at the Texas Roadhouse

2. Happiness is a fresh cucumber and tomato (from the garden) sandwich with a little mayo on white bread

3.We had leftover apple pie from the Texas Roadhouse. It was delicious

4. After dental appointments and Himself's doctor's appointment, we celebrated out 41st wedding anniversary at Giacomo's in Wayland.

5.Teague and I had lunch at Murphy's in Framingham. I had a chocolate frappe

How was your week?

  1. You didn't have to cook much at all last week, did you? :) Sounds like a great week. And happy belated 41st. I hope you enjoy this beautiful Friday before more rain arrives at some point this weekend.

    1. My go to in order to feed myself is usually tea and toast with butter and cinnamon sugar. Anything else requires too much effort for one.

  7. Happy 41st wedding anniversary (belated of course). And as you rightly say, the joy of eating out is the fact that you don't have to cook yourself.
    Enjoy the weekend,

    1. The apple pie was one of the best I've had. It was hand-made. A real crust! Not a commercial pie that was baked, frozen, and then the restaurant heated up.

  11. Happy anniversary!
I was told two people at ESE really want me back, a third one I know will be in the project and one who is really nice. Now it only has to happen. Was promised "this year"
