Tools, Gadgets, and Widgets - Blog Statistics

One of the things I enjoy about computers is the endless supply of tools, gadgets and widgets.  On Saturdays, I'll be blogging about some of the tools, gadgets, and widgets I use that help keep me productive, organized or just plain amused. And if you know of any cool widgets, let me know. You can never have enough widgets.

I love blog or web page statistics. Love seeing where everyone comes from and how they land on my page. Sure, you can wade through all that stuff in Google Analytics (and I do), but another widget I use is Feedjit. Feedjit lets you see who lands on your page in real time. Cool hunh? With a one click overview, Feedjit also shows whether people come to your page by following a link, search engines, or direct. You can customize the Feedjit widget to match the colors of your blog or webpage. Easy to install by copying and pasting the HTML code into your blog or web page. Best of all, it's free! You can buy an advanced or pro widget and there is a free trial for either of those options. I find the free widjit works just fine for my needs.
