T Stands for A Give Away

Studio cleaning is a never-ending cycle, a  realization that I have too much sh stuff. So I've pulled out supplies enough to fill two of the large priority mail boxes. The boxes are filled with gently used items. Some items have never been used and are still in their packaging.

I hate to throw the stuff away as the pastels, rubber stamps, watercolors, punches, embellishments are still in good shape. Some of these items were bought for workshops and used only once. Or not at all. Some were samples in goodie bags during open houses at the museum. Some were, I thought I'd  use it some day, but that day never arrived.

I'm hoping you can help me out. I'll raffle off both boxes, plus a small box for those outside the US. Just let me know in the comments if you want to enter the raffle. The 3 new recipients will be announced on Friday.

And since this is a T Day post, my drink reference is the tiny set of tea and coffee themed rubber stamps in the above photograph.

By the way, I can't guarantee which box of items you will get. The other boxes are filled with equally wonderful things.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  1. This is a lovely idea, and I am sure you will make people happy with those goodies. I will not join in, as I already have waaaaay too much and am trying to reduce my stuff, too! Happy T Day, stay safe, Valerie

  2. How fun for us and very good idea-sharing instead of tossing or dealing with trying to sell them.
Please count me in the giveaway. Loving those little tea stamps too hugs and Happy T Kathy

  3. Happy T day CJ. Those stamps are really perfect for T day and very cute. You can count me in. Especially if those stamps are part of the clean out. Smile. Good for you to do a clean out. I reorganized and throw out junk, but really need a clean out. I just am not ready to do it. Stay cool. Hugs-Erika

  6. I would love to enter the raffle! I don't think I have commented before, but I have read your blog a couple years now..! Sharing excess supplies is the best, I have a local resource shop where I take any extras.

  7. Tempting....but I just purged the studio and gave away a TON of stuff so I think I'll pass this time. Someone else can be the lucky recipient. :)

  8. that's a nice thing to do. I won't enter because i have so so so many art supplies, etc...that sit around because i usually do mostly digital art. And i see you have that round watercolor container. I have one of those and it got a lot of use back in the day.

    1. I had two. One I kept as it was a gift from a friend in Australia

    2. a gift from Australia - ...that's really nice to get something like that. i really loved mine when I got it and used it often. It still has enough left in the palates to continue to use it. I love that it is stacked and saves space. I must have about 10 different trays of watercolors plus tubes, acrylic, gouache...the one thing I've never tried except once as a teenager is oil paints.

  11. This is such a lovely and generous way to purge your art supplies by giving them to someone who would be thrilled to have new things to play with. I have been slowly purging and giving away too- until the Covid thing closed many charity drop offs and special event auctions:( So, I'll wait. And I'll pass on your offer but thank you! Happy T day!

  12. How sweet! What a fun way to pass along little treasures :) I'll pass, as my artistic muse is a fickle thing ;)

  13. What a great and generous idea, CJ. Count me out though, because if I won I'd have to pay 16% of retail value in duties!

Happy T-day and have a lovely week! Hugs, Eileen

  14. I have this theory about my internet. It knows exactly when it's Monday at 4 pm, so it immediately goes offline. ATT said they'd send someone Tuesday morning between 8 and noon. Looks like they did, since I'm now online.

What a kind and caring thing you are doing CJ. I probably shouldn't enter, BUT the things you have shared are much nicer than anything I own, so I'm throwing my name (or maybe I should just enter Bleubeard's for luck) in the hat. Thanks for sharing these and thanks for showing the incredible stamps that are definitely T related, although those are not high on my priority, like some of the other items I saw for T this Tuesday.

  16. What a lovely way to share crafting goodies, that's so kind of you! I'd be happy to join in the draw although it will be a small box if you find the postage is too much to send to the UK then no worries 😁. Thanks so much for thinking of us and wishing you a very Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x

    1. I think the tea stamps came from a little boutique. A gift from someone that had traveled on vacation.

  21. I know what you mean by having too much stuff. When we moved to Spain, I really had to have a major cull and I gave lots away.
So thank you for thinking of us, and I really appreciate there being a small box for those outside the US. So, count me in!
The tea and coffee themed little stamps are too cute. Perfect for T-Day.
    Happy belated T-Day,
