Another back to front story.
After trying all week, I finally got a picture of Candy, the itty bitty, bunny. Too bad the photo had to be taken through the screen.
After some storms, a gorgeous sunset
A dragonfly came in for a landing.
Giant milkweed plants looking like something out of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea or Lost in Space
The only birds I've seen in the yard since the bird feeders were taken down.
A weed in the flower box
Dedo keeping cool
Sgraggly looking petunias
Morning glories starting to bloom out front
Lettuce
A cucumber deciding to climb on its neighbor's pole
Cucumbers reaching for the sky
The tomato is starting to turn red.
Sad view without the bird feeder and birds
Something got at the petunias. Maybe slugs as it's been so wet and humid
A dusting of food grade diatomaceous earth to keep the bugs and slugs away from the plants. The food grade DE is safe for humans and pets.
A light breeze and the sound of the new wind chimes and traffic
How does your garden grow?
Beautiful. Here it´s just growing and growing and keeping being green! Some seems to be oat grass or such - in the city!
ReplyDeleteGreen and growing is not a bad thing
DeleteYour garden is looking good. Nice to see the tiny bunny. My balcony is flourishing, lots of flowers, wild flowers and unknowns growing there. Have a great day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteBalconia is always beautiful
DeleteI'm not particularly fond of wind chimes but that one sounds quite lovely! :D
ReplyDeleteThe windchime is musically tuned to the key of E (according to the box)
DeleteMind blowing post
ReplyDelete😊
DeleteThat's a shame about the birds. I'm impressed with your milkweed. Wow!
ReplyDeleteThey must love the humidity and the rain
DeleteThe garden is looking wonderful CJ. I think the plants are loving the rain and then the heat. And I had to laugh at your latest bird visitors. It certainly has been the perfect weather for them. Happy new week. Hope its been a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat weekend. We hung out in the sun room and watched movies
DeleteEverything looks GREAT! I love chimes A LOT! We have a total of four so far outside our house! lol
ReplyDeleteI love them, too. So calming
DeleteWhat happened to the bird feeder? Did I miss it? I have 11 wind chimes on my front porch, and three are set in different keys. They are much more melodic than the other clunky wind chimes. Yours sounds a bit like one set I have.
ReplyDeleteLoved the bunny photo.
From Mass(achusetts) Wildlife: An illness is impacting birds in certain parts of the country.(first seen spreading in the mid-Atlantic states) As a precautionary measure, MassWildlife is urging the public to report observations of dead birds and stop using bird feeders at this time.
DeleteThat is a very nice sunset...
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing all of your photographs.
All the best Jan
Your gardens are looking good. The bunny is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love your chimes! Your garden is looking beautiful! How come no more bird feeder? I'm working backwards in your posts, so hopefully I will find out soon! Love your little bunny! Big Hugs!
